Big Lagoon
Big Lagoon sits on the eastern side of Miniloc Island in Bacuit Bay, closed in by limestone cliffs that rise some 300 to 400 metres straight out of the water.
A shallow channel is the only way in. Motorized boats stop outside it, and visitors paddle a kayak or outrigger the rest of the way across water that is usually no more than a few metres deep and clear enough to see the bottom.
The lagoon is a standard stop on El Nido's Tour A boat circuit, usually paired with Small Lagoon and Secret Lagoon on the same island group.
